Before practicing law, I spent years in customer-facing industries, and that experience shaped how I approach every case. People don’t just need legal technicalities explained to them — they need someone who listens carefully, communicates clearly, and treats their situation with the seriousness it deserves. Being an immigrant three times over, I also bring firsthand insight into the challenges people face navigating unfamiliar legal and business systems.

I was raised in a family of entrepreneurs, which gave me an early, practical understanding of what it actually takes to run a business — the contracts, the leases, the disputes, and the decisions that keep an owner up at night. Before becoming an attorney, I operated businesses in retail, hospitality, auto rentals, and technology services, which gave me direct experience with vendor relations, employment matters, franchising, and commercial leasing from both a business and legal perspective. That background informs how I advise business clients today — not as an outside observer citing rules, but as someone who has sat on the other side of the table.

I’m fluent in English, German, Russian, French, Italian, Spanish, Hebrew, and Yiddish, which allows me to serve a diverse clientele with genuine cultural understanding, not just translation.

I earned a degree in hospitality management from Hotel Institute Montreux and New Hampshire College. I’m licensed in New York and New Jersey, and I’m a member of the New York State Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, and the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators (NJAPM).
